Ingredients:

– 2 lbs ground beef (80/20 preferred) – 1 cup breadcrumbs – 2 large eggs – 1/2 cup milk – 1 small onion, finely diced – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce – 1/4 cup ketchup (plus more for glaze) – 1 tsp salt – 1/2 tsp black pepper – Optional: 1 tsp Italian seasoning

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and seasonings. Mix until fully blended but avoid overmixing to keep it tender.

Instructions:

Stir in diced onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. These ingredients add depth of flavor and moisture to your meatloaf.

Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan. Press gently to remove air pockets and ensure even cooking throughout.

Top the meatloaf with a ketchup-based glaze. Bake for 50–60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for safe consumption.

Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes after baking. This helps retain juices and makes it easier to slice cleanly without falling apart.
