Delicious Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Ingredients

– 3 ripe bananas, mashed – 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter – 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil – 2/3 cup brown sugar – 2 large eggs – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 tsp baking soda – 1/2 tsp salt – 3/4 cup chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)

Use 3 overripe bananas. Mash until smooth in a large bowl—this adds natural sweetness and keeps the loaf extra moist and tender.

Instructions

Whisk mashed bananas with peanut butter, eggs, oil, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Gently stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Overmixing can make the bread dense instead of light and fluffy.

Add chocolate chips to the batter and fold gently. Use semi-sweet chips for balance, or try dark chocolate for a richer flavor.

Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 50–60 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Enjoy warm with butter or as-is! Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze slices for future treats.
